SCHEDULE AND OVERVIEW
Workshops are held every second Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM.
Each week, we’ll gather to discuss and workshop a particular element of developing fiction, with the goal of providing you with the tools, encouragement, and motivation to complete a short piece of fiction by the end of the workshop series.
My approach to teaching fiction is low pressure, engaging, and collaborative. In a trusted workshop setting, we’ll work through a series of helpful prompts and short exercises designed to develop your writing muscles and approach writing with curiosity, generosity, and fun. I’ll provide suggestions, tools, and ideas honed from many years of teaching and writing. This is the perfect setting for both new writers and more seasoned writers who are looking for a supportive, structured environment.
Each workshop will provide both short exercises, solitary writing time, and the chance to ask questions and get feedback on your work.
